The currach I made at Lofotr got some press attention. It was published in the local paper Lofotposten. Here is the scanned article. I’m sorry for the curled paper causing the bad scanning.

You’re getting famous! Good job, I’m impressed. I don’t know anyone who’s made their own boat (besides me).
I made one many years ago as a kid from scrap lumber. But never got it near the water, so I’ve no idea how well it would have done. Probably sunk! ~Survival Acres~

Sounds like your boat was an interesting one. Maybe you need to move closer to water and test it?
