Making Needles

Published by at 8:58 pm under Expeditions and Experiences

Finally the posting troubles are resolved (I hope). I am now making needles the way I usually do as part of a tutorial in an e-book I’ll publish in a few weeks time. There are plans for several. But I’ll reveal one at the time to allow for delays or changes.

The flowering bush is Mezereum (Daphne mezereum). Highly poisonous, grows on calceous soils in exposure to the sun.

The frogs are spawning like mad in huge numbers. Would be easy to spear, but they are protected.
