Serving Tray
Yesterday I made a serving tray out of thick birch bark. I stitched with spruce root and the result is very sturdy. Stitching is my favourite way of assembling birch bark. It is very quick and makes potentially waterproof boxes (although this one isn’t). However, a certain quality of bark is required. Thinner barks should be woven for the best results.
