There is a huge amount of resources going to waste in norway every hunting season. This year I decided to take advantage of this and get myself some moose skins and bones. We (a friend of mine and I) got them from a hunting team further north. Not well skinned, but barely acceptable. A few heads for brains. Bones for scrapers, spearheads and similar. The leg skins will be made into shoes and the hides into buckskins.

These resources and your new insights will give you a better foundation to work from. Tests like the one you are engaging in help you appreciate what it takes to trully make it in the bush. You have done very well. Michael.

Cool stuff. Isn’t moose leather meant to make the best moccassins?
