Eating Utensils

Published by at 12:20 pm under Expeditions and Experiences

Much of the time I eat with only my fingers or a knife, but sometimes it is nice to have a plate or a burned out bowl like here. Spoon carving is not my thing and I usually use just a flat piece of wood, a shell or a piece of gourd like here. Any broth I drink straight off the bowl.

keep it simple,i believe if you have time on your hands then spoon carving could be a good past time, but i guess you have other more important tasks..winter is a good time to do spoon carving,to past cold wet times in the lodge..
